An annual report by the World Economic Forum, released on 20 May 2010, listed Guatemala as the second least-secure business environment in the world. Guatemala ranks 124 out of 125 for business costs associated with crime, violence and physical security; 123rd for shipping costs and facilities; 121st for confidence in law enforcement; 101st for corruption and 119th for its business climate.
