Always try to go to the source whenever you can - or you risk being badly misinformed.
I received two e-mails today asking if our good friend Woody, of Woody's Beach Bar and Grill in Farallon had passed away. I went to the source, and of course it was SO wrong, it is almost funny.
Here's what actually happened:
The band JB and The Gorgonas were schedualled to play at Woody's last weekend. A fisherman next to Woody's bar passed away the day the band was to play, and in respect for the fisherman's family, Woody postponed the band and re-booked them to play this weekend.
"The rumours of my demise are greatly exaggerated" Woody claims, in a mock W.C. Fields impression.
The bar was packed, Woody is fine, and he and Monique invite everyone to "WAKE UP @ WOODY'S" - Roberto
