hi rob,pls advise me how i get from pty to pac .can i take a bus?i want to get to boc(bocas del toro)and i'm a little confused.ty in advance as always shelley xxoo
MY RESPONSE:
Take $30 cab from PTY (Tocumen) to Allbrook Airport in The City and then fly to Bocas Del Toro (a one hour flight). Alternatively take the bus to David (six hours), switch to another bus to Bocas (no odead - but a hair-raising ride) . Or drive to Chiriqui Province and go over the mountains, past Fortuna, and catch a ferry boat to Bocas. Watch out for parts of the highway that have fallen 1,000 feet away off the sides. Fog at the top. Rain on the other sde. Enjoy. RC
