I also like the towns of Anton and Penonomé - both Panamanian towns, but very friendly. Stay away from Rio Hato (drugs) San Carlos is fun -
check it out too.
My town - Santa Clara is lovely, but small (and expensive) However we do have the best beach in Panama. However a community development with single
family homes with shared swimming pool and common gardens is going in next year - I will let you know how it goes - plus a number of condo towers going up
on the beach (none of us are too happy about that, but hey - progress marches on)
Beat the heat - get a pool - it is the only way to live. RC
