Changes in the way Canadians bring pets to Panama

E-mail Print PDF

This came in from a reader in Toronto who is bringing his cat to Panama. Note the change: First have your vet certificate notarized, then authenticate the notary's signature at the Official Document Services - and then take it to the Panamanian Consulate or Embassy to be stamped.

Rob,

For your information, the Panamanian Embassy will only accept the Health and Vaccination Certificates after they are notarized by a lawyer and subsequently filed with the Official Document Services, In Toronto 416-325-8416, at $16.00 per document. H.
